A traditional 16th Century, former Coaching Inn, built in AD 1547 with a wealth of timbered beams, open log fires, a Grade II listed building and one of the finest Restaurants in East Anglia. With ample parking for 70 cars and outside landscaped garden areas with seating, either Summer or Winter, the Inn provides a lovely venue for Wedding Receptions.
Inglenook fireplace, log fires, woodburning stove, set in an Olde Worlde Traditional setting, the Inn provides a perfect venue to celebrate your Wedding. A rich interior compliments the setting.
Our Internationally acclaimed Head Chef can create for you a first class 'Wedding Breakfast' to celebrate the occasion and make this a memorable moment for both you and your guests.
Ranging from the most formal, to the informal of receptions, we offer a bespoke service which can be tailor made to your requirements and budgets as opposed to a ready made package from elsewhere which does not always suit.
The Jacobean Suite can be hired with a seated capacity of 50 persons. The Toscana Suite holds an additional 20 persons. The Stable Room holds an additional 20 persons. The entire Inn can be hired for larger numbers of guests or to provide total exclusivity, irrespective of numbers.Our packages can include evening Disco and Buffet food catering for up to 200 people. Marquee and outside fireworks displays are also available.
We stock over 300 Wines and 27 Champagnes, together with Sparkling Wines, 40 Cognacs and 35 Vintage Ports. Our Cask conditioned Real Ales and draught and bottled lagers produce an unrivalled selection of drinks.Cocktails, Punches, Bucks Fizz and many similar type drinks are available together with a comprehensive range of soft and non-alcoholic drinks.
